WA Notstromtechnik GmbH is a specialist company certified by TÜV Nord in accordance with § 62 AwSV for recognition as a WHG specialist company (formerly § 19 I) of the Water Resources Act. We have qualified specialist personnel and the technical equipment to install, set up, maintain and repair storage systems (heating oil/diesel tanks) for power generation systems.

The WHG covers all regulations on the protection and use of surface waters and groundwater. It also contains regulations on water management planning, the development of water bodies and flood protection. According to § 1a para. 1, water bodies as part of the ecosystem are to be managed in such a way that they serve the common good and, provided this does not conflict with the common good, also the benefit of individuals. This characteristic of the waters (according to § 2, this includes surface waters, coastal waters and groundwater) must not be impaired as far as possible. The most important regulatory instrument of the WHG is the permit and authorization requirement (§ 2) for water uses (§ 3).
