Basic equipment Doosan power generators
Doosan is one of Korea’s 30 largest companies and one of the world’s 2,000 largest publicly traded companies. Today’s Doosan Infracore was founded in Korea in 1937. Doosan initially developed into a trading company.
Our emergency power systems are ideal for providing a reliable emergency power supply. They are used in applications where power failures endanger lives, result in commercial losses, or where applicable legislation requires an emergency power supply—in medical facilities, airports (crowded areas), industrial plants, data centers, and power plants.
The aim is to ensure the supply of electrical energy in the event of a power grid failure by using an emergency power system.
emergency power systems
The entire emergency power system is mounted on a base frame made of welded steel angle profiles in a robust construction. Specially designed devices for lifting with a crane are attached to the base frame. The diesel engine and generator are connected directly to each other via an SAE flange, so that even after prolonged operation there is no possibility of misalignment. The day tank is integrated into the base frame. The starter battery (12 volts up to 200 kVA – 24 volts from 250 kVA) is mounted on the base frame.
Motor
Doosan Infracore industrial diesel engine, 4-stroke direct injection, water-cooled, 1,500 rpm (50 Hz). Low oil and fuel consumption with long maintenance intervals make Doosan engines a very economical engine application.
Generator
Mecc Old synchronous three-phase generator, brushless, self-regulating with electronic voltage regulator (AVR) according to VDE 0530, 400/230 volts, 4-pole, insulation class H.
Start-stop-switchgear
Manual starting system with engine monitoring and shutdown in case of low oil pressure, overtemperature, overspeed, generator switch with thermal and magnetic release.
Equipment
Frequency meter, operating hours counter, voltmeter and ammeter, visual and audible alarm indicator in case of malfunction.
Accessories
A wide range of accessories is available for all emergency power generators at an additional cost, such as large tanks, automatic fuel filling systems, chassis in accordance with StVZO (German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations), preheating systems, electronic engine control, automatic emergency power systems in accordance with VDE 0100-710 or -718, and optional parallel operation.
